OAKLAND ADDS KEEGAN WARNER AND JIM NICKNAIR TO ATHLETIC TRAINING STAFF

Warner comes to Oakland from Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists, Nicknair from Adrian College

Jim Nicknair joined the Oakland athletic training staff in August 2017 after spending four years as an assistant athletic trainer at Adrian College.

During his tenure at Adrian College, Nicknair provided primary coverage for the men's ice hockey, baseball, women's volleyball, men's and women's golf and bass fishing teams.

Nicknair also served as the director of the drug education and screening program and clinical preceptor supervising clinical athletic training students per semester. He was named 2015-2016 ATEP Preceptor of the Year.

Prior to Adrian, Nicknair served as the head athletic trainer at Belpre High School where he was responsible for all aspects of athletic training to high school athletes including administering Web-based ImPACT testing for all athletes. He also participated in the NATA Nation Injury Tracking Outcomes Study.

Nicknair, a native of Glenburn, Maine, earned a master of science in athletic training from Ohio University in 2013 and bachelor of science in athletic training from the University of Southern Maine in 2011.

Nicknair currently resides in Rochester Hills, Mich.
