NOWICKI HEADS TO ATLANTA FOR NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

Devon Nowicki will compete in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke

2010-11: Named The Summit League Swimmer of the Year ...Earned all-league honors at The Summit League Championships ... Won a total of seven events and hit 10 NCAA 'B' cuts as he was named the Swimmer of the Championship ... Hit the NCAA 'B' standard in winning the 100 and 200-yard backstroke events (47/10, 1:44.30) ... Swam on the championship 200 and 400 medley and 200, 400 and 800 freestyle relays, all of which hit the NCAA 'B' cut ... Recorded NCAA 'B' cuts in the 50, 100 and 200 free, all on relay legs ... Finished his career with 10 individual Summit League titles, second most in league history.

2008-09: Earned first team honors in three events at The Summit League Championships ... Swam on the school, league and meet record-setting 400 (2:55.95), and 800 free (6:30.71) relay teams ... Swam on the 200 free relay (1:24.44), which set a new league and meet record ... All three relays were NCAA `B' cuts ... Was runner-up in the 100 back (47.31) and 200 back (1:44.47), both of which were NCAA `B' cuts .... Finished third in the 50 free (20.52) .... Hit two additional `B' cuts at the Miami Invitational in the 100 back (47.77) and 100 free (43.62) ... Was named Summit League Athlete of the Week on three occasions.

2007-08: Broke seven meet and three school records en route to being named Swimmer of the Year at The Summit League Championships ... Successfully defended his titles in the 100 and 200 back events (46.77, 1:43.57, respectively) ... Both times were meet and school records and automatically qualified him for the NCAA Championships ... There, he placed fifth in the 200 back with a time of 1:42.03, making him a Mid-Major All-American and ninth in the 100 back with a time of 46.55 ... Both times were school records...Back at the Summit League Championship, he placed first in the 50 free for the second straight year (20.40, sixth fastest in Oakland history) ... Swam on the championship 200 and 400 medley and 400 free relay squads .. All three relays broke meet records, hit the NCAA "B" cut and the medley broke the school record .. On the opening leg of the 800 free relay, he swam 1:35.87 to set a meet and school record.

2006-07: Had an outstanding freshman year as he was named the Summit League Newcomer of the Year ... Earned All-Summit League first team honors in six events ... He set school and conference records in the 100 and 200 back events ... Unold also won the 50 free and swam on three championship relay squads (200 Medley, 400 Medley and 400 Free) ... At the NCAA Division I Championships, he placed 13th in the 100 back to earn All-American honors ... In addition, he set school records in the 100 and 200 back events.

Prior to Oakland: Swam three years for SMS Oswiecim in Poland.
