OAKLAND SETS POOL RECORD DURING DAY ONE OF CINCINNATI QUAD

CINCINNATI -- Paul Huch placed third in the 100-yard backstroke (50.03) and was a member of the winning 200 free relay along with Jeremiah Morren, Tony Eriksson and Andrew Binder that set a Keating Aquatics Center record of 1:21.91 while Grace Shinske placed third in the 100 back as well (57.45) as the Oakland men's and women's swimming and diving teams concluded day one of competition at the Cincinnati quad meet.

Huch was also a part of the 200 medley relay that took third (1:32.25) and Shinske was a member of the 200 medley relay that placed fifth (1:45.69). The Golden Grizzlies will resume competition Saturday at 11 a.m., live streaming will being available.
