ROCHESTER, Mich. -- Patricia Aschan won the 200-yard backstroke, 200 freestyle and 200 IM while Paul Huch won the 100 freestyle and backstroke as Oakland swimming and diving dropped a dual meet to Michigan State on senior day 165-133 (men) and 157-143 (women) at the Oakland Aquatic Center. For the men's team, it was the first home dual meet loss to the Spartans since 2002.

Huch also was on the winning 400 free relay along with Tony Eriksson, Andrew Binder and Jeremiah Morren. He placed runner-up in the 200 medley relay as well. Morren also won the 50 free (20.55), Joe Smith won the 3-meter boards (346.80) and Tuomas Kiviluoma took first-place in the 100 butterfly going 49.06. On the women's side Takara Martin won both the 100 and 200 breaststroke going 1:03.96 and 2:20.39 respectively, Krissy Harmon won the 1,000 free (10:23.47) and Holly Morren won the 100 free (50.62).
