AKRON, Ohio -- Paul Huch recorded three first place finishes on the first day of the Zippy Invitational as the Oakland men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams finished first and fourth place respectively Friday.

Huch placed first in the 200 freestyle relay (1:21.01), 50 freestyle (20.24) and the 400 medley relay (3:18.72). Huch’s 50 free performance is the sixth best time in program history.

The Oakland men’s team sits in first place with 681.5 points while the women are in fourth with 345.5 points.

Competition at the Zippy Invitational will resume Saturday, Dec. 2 at 9 a.m.
