ROCHESTER, Mich. - Bryce Stroede and Rachel Levy placed first in the 3000m and set new school and meet records with times of 8:26.01 and 9:43.88, respectively, at the 12th annual Detroit Dual on Saturday. Gino Vitella also broke the school and meet record in shot put (58 ft., 8.75 in.) and the meet record in discus (170 ft., 3 in.).

Dana Tessmer set a meet and school record in pole vault (11 ft., 5.75 in.) and Austin Dawn set a meet record in the 800m (1:54.09) to help lead the Golden Grizzlies to their second consecutive sweep of Detroit in the Detroit Duals.

800m: Geoffrey Williston (2nd, 1:54.33)

High jump: Angela Ciaravino (1st, 5 ft., 3 in.), Natalie Stone (2nd, 4 ft., 9 in.)

Javelin: Angela Ciaravino (1st, 99 ft.), Terri Brown (2nd, 89 ft., 10 in.)

The Golden Grizzlies will return to action next week to host the last home meet of the season, the Golden Grizzly Invite, on Friday and Saturday.
