YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Zach Stadnika won the decathlon with a school record 6253 points while Brandon Davis claimed the long jump title breaking his own school record of 23 ft., 11.50 in. George O'Connor and Ashley Burr each captured 3000m steeplechase titles setting new facility record times of 9.11.68 and 10:31.98 respectively on Saturday during the second day of competition at the Horizon League Outdoor Championships.

Miranda Haas (10:53.92) was runner up to Burr in the 3000m steeplechase followed by Kailey Weingartz (11:07.26) in fourth. Dana Tessmer also finished second in the pole vault at 11 ft., 11.75 in.

Angela Ciaravino made the podium finishing fourth in the heptathlon with 3986 points. Gino Vitella placed fourth in the shot put at 52 ft., 10 in. followed by Tyler Beeson in fifth with with a PR toss of 52 ft., 6.75 in.

Brad Mallory also finished fifth with a PR time of 9:40.81 in the 3000m steeplechase. Both teams sit in second place behind YSU with the women totaling 70 points and the men 64 points.
