LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Bryce Stroede broke the 8K school record with a time of 23:53.64 to finish 17th out of 145 runners at the 16th Annual Louisville Sports Commission Cross Country Classic on Saturday. Rachel Levy led the women's team with a Gold 5K race time of 17:28.07 to place 48th out of 290 runners.

Jacob Bowman also finished 40th with a time of 24:28.68 while Maggie Schneider placed 50th with a mark of 17:29.04. Overall, the men's team finished 12th with 383 points while the women placed 18th with 462 points.

The Golden Grizzlies return home to host Central Michigan in the short course dual on Friday, Oct. 6. at 4:30 p.m.
