ROCHESTER, Mich. - Maggie Schneider captured the women's 6K title with a time of 21:53.2 followed by Rachel Levy (22:03.4-2nd) and Ashley Burr (22:09.1-3rd) as the Oakland women's cross country team became just the third school in Horizon League history to win three consecutive championships since Butler (2009-11) on Saturday at the Katke-Cousins Golf Course.

The men's team won its second league title in a three-year span led by a second place finish by Bryce Stroede (25.12.3) followed by Jacob Bowman (25:15.7) and Andrew Bowman (25:23.6) in third and fourth respectively to earn All-League First Team honors.

Schneider was named Athlete of the Year earning All-League First Team honors along with Levy and Burr. Madison Leigh and Sammy Mondry were named All-League Second Team after finishing 11th and 12th respectively.

Brad Mallory placed 10th followed by Connor Wuori in 14th to earn All-League Second Team honors. Head coach Paul Rice was named Men's and Women's Coach of the Year.

The Golden Grizzlies also picked up four points in the Metro Series Driven by Trinity Transportation standings by finishing ahead of Detroit Mercy.
