How do I join?
Anyone who is interested in supporting the success of Oakland University's 320-plus student-athletes is eligible to join the Golden Grizzlies Athletic Fund. Membership benefits begin at $100 and you can make your donation via phone, mail, or online at www.goldengrizzlies.com via the online gift form.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, gifts to the Golden Grizzlies Athletic Fund are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. Please consult with your tax advisor when determining the exact deductibility of your gift.
Per IRS guidelines, "If you make a payment to, or for the benefit of, a college or university and, as a result, you receive the right to buy tickets to an athletic event in the athletic stadium of the college or university, you can deduct 80% of the payment as a charitable contribution. If any part of your payment is for tickets (rather than the right to buy tickets), that part is not deductible. Subtract the price of the tickets from your payment. Are donations required for all seats?
Currently, the only seats requiring a donation are the Courtside Seats (center court & baseline) in the O'rena for Men's and Women's Basketball. Please refer to the GGAF Benefit chart or consult the GGAF with additional questions.
How can I get a parking pass for basketball games?
Currently, donations are required if you wish to obtain a parking pass in our VIP parking lot (lot P17) for Men's and Women's Basketball. Please refer to the GGAF Benefit chart or consult the GGAF with additional questions.
How do I pay my invoice online?

Do you offer payment plans?
You may establish an approved payment plan by working with a member of our staff. Payment is due in full by June 30 (fiscal year end).
What is the difference between a restricted gift and an unrestricted gift?
An unrestricted gift supports all 18 sports and helps offset scholarship costs and other non-budgeted athletics department expenses throughout the year. A restricted gift is directed to a specific sport, capital project, or endowment.
