Feb. 24, 2018

Box Score

LEXINGTON, Ky. Oakland got home runs from Ben Hart, Ryan Fitzgerald and Jordan Jackson but it was not enough as the Golden Grizzlies fell 17-6 to No. 8 Kentucky on Saturday.

Hart continued to swing a hot bat going 2-for-4 with a two-run shot and double for a total of three RBI. Fitzgerald scored two runs with his solo shot coming in the third inning to tie the game while Jackson added his first home run of the season in the fourth cutting Kentucky's lead to 4-2. Mario Camilletti also went 1-for-4 with a RBI single.

Oakland's four errors over the first four innings proved to be costly as the first nine of the Wildcat's 17 runs were unearned.

The series finale is set for Sunday, Feb, 25 at 1 p.m.
