Oakland (4-24, 2-6 HL) got all of its scoring done early as Zach Sterry ripped a RBI-single in the first inning followed by DiLeo's three-run bomb. After Pagano's two-run shot in the third, the Golden Grizzlies left the rest to Jake Lee who threw another quality start by going 6.0 innings and allowing three earned runs while striking out three batters.
The Oakland bullpen took over for Lee as Nate Schweers, P.J. Piesko and Nick Parr combined for three scoreless innings, with Parr earning the save. The rubber match between the Flames (19-8,9-2 HL) and the Golden Grizzlies will take place tomorrow at 1:05 p.m. ET.
