ROCHESTER, Mich. -- Drew Demumbrum hit his first career home run in the first inning and finished the game with three RBIs and three hits while Zach Sterry homered in the second inning to record his fifth in the last seven games and finished with four RBIs as Oakland defeated Eastern Michigan 14-11 in its home opener on Tuesday.

The Golden Grizzlies trailed by one heading into the bottom of the sixth before scoring three runs to take a 12-10 lead. Oakland scored two more runs in the eighth inning off RBIs from Emerson Misch and Tyler Janish to cap off the afternoon game.

The Golden Grizzlies return to action with a doubleheader at home against Milwaukee on April 21.
