OAKLAND'S SEASON ENDS WITH 12-4 LOSS TO RAIDERS IN HORIZON LEAGUE TOURNAMENT

CHICAGO -- Tyler Janish went 2-for-3 with a RBI and drew a walk as the Oakland baseball team lost 12-4 to Wright State Friday night at Curtis Granderson Stadium in the Horizon League Tournament.

Wright State's Zane Collins (7-5) threw 6.2 scoreless innings before Misch hit a base knock in the seventh inning to score Oakland's first run of the game. The Golden Grizzlies (17-40) strung together a three-run eighth inning as Mike McGee singled to right-center field to drive in Tyler Pagano and Tyler Trovinger hit a sacrifice fly to left field for Oakland's third run of the game. Janish followed that up with a RBI-single.

The Golden Grizzlies finish the season winning two games in the Horizon League Tournament for the first time in school history. Oakland also won a league tournament game for the first time since 2012.
