INDIANAPOLIS - For the second time this season, Oakland baseball student-athlete Jake Lee was named Horizon League Pitcher of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday.
Lee, a senior from Highland, Mich., picked up his fourth win of the season tossing 13 strikeouts, just missing his own school record of 14 he set earlier this season, allowing only one run and four hits in 6.0 innings of work to lead Oakland to a 13-4 win at Northern Kentucky in the series opener.
Oakland travels to Kalamazoo, Mich. for a non-conference game at Western Michigan on Tuesday, Apr. 17 at 3 p.m.
