CHICAGO -- Kendrick Nunn scored 32 points and grabbed a season high nine rebounds plus dished out four assists and nabbed three steals as the Oakland men's basketball team earned a pivotal road win at UIC Monday night. Nunn, a native of Chicago, recorded his seventh 30-point game of the season.
Martez Walker scored in double figures for the ninth straight game by adding 18 points while recording four rebounds and three assists.
Jalen Hayes scored 15 points on seven of 11 shooting from the floor, hauled in six rebounds and had three steals.
Isaiah Brock led all players with 10 rebounds, his fifth double-figure rebound performance of the season and had three blocks, while Nick Daniels added 11 points off the bench. Oakland is 7-0 when Daniels scores in double figures.
Oakland held the Flames to just 28 second half points as UIC shot just 35 percent from the floor and 16 percent from beyond the arc. They will take on Detroit Mercry on the road Saturday, Jan. 20 at 4 p.m.
