FAIRBORN, Ohio -- Jalen Hayes scored 13 points, grabbed eight rebounds, had one block and one steal as the Oakland men's basketball team fell to Wright State Sunday afternoon at the Nutter Center 64-51. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Golden Grizzlies.

Kendrick Nunn led the team with 18 points, while Martez Walker scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds. Walker played shutdown defense on the Raiders' leading score Grant Benzinger, holding him to just five points on two of nine shooting (22 percent).

As a team Oakland shot 31 percent from the floor, a season low in league play, and was just four of 24 from beyond the arc (17 percent), also a season low.

The Golden Grizzlies will return to the O'rena for a three-game home-stand starting Friday, Feb. 2 against UIC for its annual WinterFest game at 9 p.m. on ESPNU.
