ROCHESTER, Mich. -- Kendrick Nunn scored 25 points on nine of 16 shooting as the Oakland men's basketball team defeated IUPUI 82-74 Sunday afternoon at the O'rena.
Jalen Hayes scored 21 points on nine of 12 shooting from the floor while also recording four rebounds, three steals, two blocks and two assists.
Freshmen Stan Scott earned his first career start and scored seven points, while recording eight rebounds, five assists and two blocks.
Nick Daniels scored all 11 of his points in the second half, including nine of Oakland's last 13 points to close out the game. Oakland is now 8-0 when Daniels scores in double figures.
With the win, Oakland has now won three straight over the Jaguars and eight consecutive home games against IUPUI.
The Golden Grizzlies will next face rival Detroit Mercy at the O'rena Friday, Feb. 9 at 9 p.m. on ESPN2.
