ROCHESTER, Mich. -- Nick Daniels scored 13 points, dished out 10 assists and grabbed a team high eight rebounds as the Oakland men's basketball team defeated Milwaukee in a 72-70 thriller on senior day.
Daniels has now scored in double figures in six of his last seven games, and Oakland is 11-2 when he scores in double figures this season.
Kendrick Nunn scored a game high 37 points, netting seven threes and grabbing four rebounds and dishing out four assists. Nunn recorded his 11th 30-point game of the season, which leads the NCAA.
Oakland ends the regular season with an 18-13 record, going 10-8 in the Horizon League. The 10 league wins means Oakland has won 10 or more league games 11 of the last 12 seasons, including the last five consecutive years.
The Golden Grizzlies will be the No. 4 seed in the league tournament and will take on IUPUI at 7:30 p.m. on March 4 at Little Caesars Arena.
