OAKLAND HANGS ON FOR OVERTIME WIN AT ORAL ROBERTS 93-86

TULSA, Okla. -- Martez Walker scored a career high 32 points, grabbing six rebounds and dishing out five assists as the Oakland men's basketball team hung on for a 93-86 overtime win at Oral Roberts Monday night at the Mabee Center. Walker's 12 field goals made was also a career high.

Jalen Hayes recorded his first double-double of the season, and 27th of his career, by notching 18 points and hauling in 10 rebounds. Nick Daniels got the start tonight and recorded 17 points, draining four three-pointers and handing out five assists, all season highs.

Down 81-79, the Golden Grizzlies (3-3) forced a turnover at half court and Brailen Neely made the game-tying free throws with seven seconds remaining to push the game to overtime.

Oakland will play in the state of Michigan for the next three weeks starting with a home game against Texas Southern Thursday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m.
