ROCHESTER, Mich. -- Brailen Neely recorded his first career double-double by scoring a career high 22 points and dished out a career high 13 assists as the Oakland men's basketball team took down Texas Southern (0-7) 97-87 Thursday night at the O'rena. Four Golden Grizzlies scored 20 points or more for the first time in the Division I era.

Jalen Hayes recorded his second straight double-double by scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. It was his 28th career double-double which ranks fourth all-time in program history.

Nick Daniels matched a career high 21 points on six of 10 shooting from the floor including four three-pointers. Daniels is averaging 19 points in his last two games.

After scoring a career high against Oral Roberts, Martez Walker continued his scoring ways by notching 22 points on nine of 20 shooting. The Golden Grizzlies (4-3) will return to action Saturday, Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. at Western Michigan.
