KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Martez Walker matched a career high by scoring 32 points, shooting 10 of 14 from the field including five of seven from beyond the arc as the Oakland men's basketball team took down Western Michigan 78-73 Saturday afternoon inside Read Fieldhouse. The win marked the first time since 2000 the Golden Grizzlies won in Kalamazoo.

Jalen Hayes recorded his third straight double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds while Kendrick Nunn made his return after missing two games with an ankle injury with 14 second-half points.

Isaiah Brock grabbed a season high 16 rebounds, which is tied for the most by a Horizon League player this season. Nick Daniels scored in double-figures for the third straight game with 13 points. He is shooting 48 percent from beyond the arc (12-for-25) in that span.

Oakland (5-3) will return to action Wednesday, Dec. 6 to face another in-state foe on the road at Eastern Michigan at 7 p.m.
