> Despite Towson ranking fourth in the nation in three-point field goal defense, Oakland shot 46 percent (11-for-24)
> Towson came in ranking 11th in the nation in field goal percentage defense, however, the Golden Grizzlies shot 54 percent from the field (28-for-52)
> Oakland snapped Towson’s 10-game winning streak, which was third best in the NCAA coming into the contest.
>Oakland had three players score 20 points or more for the second time this season (last was against Texas Southern: four players)
> Oakland had 22 assists on 28 field goals
> The Golden Grizzlies led 52-34 at halftime

>Hayes shot seven of 11 from the field and was a perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line
