ROCHESTER, Mich. -- Kendrick Nunn scored 31 points, making a career high seven three-pointers while Jalen Hayes recorded his Horizon League-leading sixth double-double of the season with 25 points and 10 rebounds as the Oakland men's basketball team took down Towson 97-86 Wednesday night at the O'rena. The Golden Grizzlies snapped the Tigers' 10 game winning streak and are now 5-0 at home this season.

Martez Walker scored 20 points and dished out four assists as Oakland had three players score 20 points or more for the second time this season.

Despite Towson (10-2) ranking fourth in the nation in three-point field goal defense, Oakland (7-5) shot 46 percent (11-for-24). The Tigers also came in ranking 11th in the nation in field goal percentage defense, and the Golden Grizzlies shot 54 percent from the field (28-for-52).

After leading 52-34 at the half, Oakland extended its lead to as many as 27 with 10:54 remaining in regulation.

The Golden Grizzlies will close out the non-conference season Friday, Dec. 22 against Eastern Michigan inside the O'rena at 7 p.m.
