GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Kendrick Nunn scored a game high 33 points, 23 of which came in the second half, plus hit eight three pointers as the Oakland men's basketball team fell to Green Bay 80-79 Saturday afternoon at the Resch Center. Nunn was 8-for-19 from beyond the arc, the eight threes is a career high and the 19 attempts is a single-game school record.

Jalen Hayes recorded his league-best seventh double-double of the season with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Martez Walker added 18 points and five rebounds while Isaiah Brock continued his defensive dominance with another six block, 11 rebound performance.

Oakland (9-6, 1-1 HL) suffered just its third conference road loss in the past 20 Horizon League road contests. The loss also snapped an 11-game Horizon League win streak and was first loss at Green Bay (7-8, 2-0 HL) since 2015.

The Golden Grizzlies will be back in action Friday, Jan. 5 as they host Northern Kentucky at 9 p.m. on ESPN2 inside the O'rena.
