The Oakland men’s and women’s basketball teams will compete at Little Caesars Arena for 2018 Motor City Madness, the Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship.
The Oakland men’s basketball team enters the tournament as the No. 4 seed and will play on Sunday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m. against the No. 5 seed IUPUI.
The women’s basketball team secured the No. 7 seed and will play on Friday, March 2 at noon against the No. 10 seed UIC.
Fans can purchase tickets and view their schools seating section by clicking here. Tickets can also be purchased by visiting the Little Caesars Arena Box Office, or by calling the Little Caesars Arena Ticket Sales and Service Office at 313-471-7575.

For the second straight year, 313 Presents and the Horizon League will host the Champions Brunch held in The Rehmann Club at Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday, March 6. The package includes a General Admission ticket to the men's and women's basketball championship games and features panelists Rick Mahorn, James (Buddha) Edwards, and Earl Cureton. PARKING FOR FANS
Visit here to reserve a spot with ParkWhiz at one of the 32 lots and garages surrounding Little Caesars Arena. Note that re-entry requires a new transaction. For guests who do not wish to pre-purchase parking, lots and garages are primarily credit card accessible only.

Any student with a valid student ID can purchase a student ticket at the Little Caesars Arena box office for $10. ID must be shown when purchasing and/or entering Little Caesars Arena on a student ticket. Student tickets will be limited to one ticket per ID.
Students of Horizon League schools, with a current student ID, can obtain discounted single-session, general admission tickets at the Little Caesars Arena Xfinity Box Office.
To access the student section, students must obtain a wristband outside portal 13 inside the Meijer Entrance and enter through portal 12 (home students) or portal 3 (visitor students).
Student sections will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. This is limited to the first 100 students, who must present a valid student ID. Seats are general admission.
The Meijer Southwest Entry and Chevrolet Northeast Entry will be accessible 60 minutes before each session begins. Additionally, the Comerica Southeast Entry will open daily at 4:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, March 6, the arena will be cleared after the women's championship game and the three entrances noted above will re-open at 6 p.m.
Re-entry is allowed and fans can obtain a wristband at the Meijer Southwest Entry when exiting the building.
MEDIA CREDENTIAL DISTRIBUTION/PARKING
No media credentials will be mailed. Media credentials will be distributed at Little Caesars Arena (Sproat Street entrance). Media parking will be available to those approved at 2721 Cass Avenue.
Media credentials will be available to pick up two hours before the first game and close 30 minutes after the last game.
PUBLIC WILL CALL LOCATION
The public will call is located at the Xfinity Box Office, which is at the Chevrolet Northeast Entry located at the northeast corner (Sproat Street and Woodward Avenue) of Little Caesars Arena.
TEAM PASS LIST
Team pass list is located inside the Meijer Southwest Entry located at the southwest corner of Little Caesars Arena off of Cass Street and Henry Street.
LITTLE CAESARS ARENA BAG POLICY
Little Caesars Arena prohibits items such as bags and briefcases larger than 14" x 14" x 6" from entering the arena. Hard-sided bags of any kind are also prohibited. This policy, which has been updated from the policy at Joe Louis Arena, is designed to provide a safer environment for the public and expedite entry for guests.
OTHER PROHIBITED ITEMS
Other prohibited items include: flagpoles, outside food or beverage, signs on anything other than paper/poster board (no hard materials to support signs like wood) noise makers, weapons, laser pointers, selfie sticks, recording devices (GoPros, etc.).
The men’s semifinals will be televised on ESPNU and the men’s championship game will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2. The women’s championship game will be televised on ESPNU. All other games will be available on ESPN3/Watch ESPN.
