KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Oakland's Jalen Hayes and Martez Walker have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division I All-District Team, announced by the organization on Wednesday.

Hayes was one of three Horizon League student-athletes to be named to the NABC All-District First Team. The Lansing, Mich. native was an All-Horizon League First Team selection and led the Golden Grizzlies in rebounding with eight per game and was the team's second-leading scorer (15.9). Hayes has earned all-conference honors in each of his three seasons and surpassed the 1,000-career point mark this season, bringing his total to 1,268, 26th all-time in program history.

Walker was named a NABC All-District Second Team selection. The redshirt junior from Detroit was an All-Horizon League Second Team pick and Oakland's leading scorer at 17.8 points per game. He led the Golden Grizzlies with 15 20-plus point games and paced the team in scoring 14 times.

The Golden Grizzlies ended the season with 25 wins, second-most in program history. Oakland went 11-3 on the road, tied for fourth-most road wins in the country this season and tied a single-season school record.
