ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Oakland men's basketball team will continue exhibition play with a matchup between Rochester College Thursday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. The Golden Grizzlies will play their final exhibition game on Nov. 6 versus Davenport before beginning the regular season on Nov. 10 against Fort Wayne at the O'rena.

Oakland is coming off a 108-88 exhibition win over Central Michigan on Oct. 29 that saw four Golden Grizzlies score in double figures.

NOTES

> The Golden Grizzlies are a perfect 17-0 against the Warriors and last played in 2014. 

> Greg Kampe enters his 34th season at the helm of Oakland's men's basketball program and was inducted into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame on Sept. 15, 2017. Among the 2017 class included Jalen Rose, Jim Leyland, Dennis Rodman and Andre Rison.

> For the first time as a member of the Horizon League, the Oakland men's basketball team was picked as the league favorite receiving 31 of 47 first-place votes in the league's preseason poll.

> Oakland landed the most players on the preseason all-league teams with Jalen Hayes and Martez Walker being named to the first team and Kendrick Nunn being selected to the second team.
