Golden Grizzlies Play at Detroit Titan Invitational

ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland University men's golf team will compete in the Detroit Titan Invitational on Friday and Saturday at Prestwick Village Golf Club (Par 72, 7,142 yards) in Highland, Mich. The 54-hole tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.

Canisius, Cleveland State, Dayton, Detroit, Duquesne, Green Bay, Humber, IPFW, Loyola College (MD), Loyola University (IL), Oakland, Valparaiso, Wright State, Youngstown State.

(From Oakland U.) Take I-59 (west) to Prestwick Trail and make right. Follow for 0.1 mile and make first ring onto Inverness. Arrive at course in 207 feet.

Play is scheduled to begin Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start and 36 holes of continuous play. The final round of this 54-hole event will then be played on Saturday, starting at 8:30 a.m. Each team will have five players in the lineup with the top four scores counting towards the team score each round.

There is no admission charge so fans can enjoy the all day action on Friday and Saturday. The course address is 136 Inverness, Highland, MI 48357-4786.
