ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland men's golf team will compete in the Cleveland State Invitational this Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 1-2, at Canterbury Golf Club. This marks the second fall tournament for the Golden Grizzlies.
Freshman Evan Bowser (T7) and senior Nick Cunningham (10) are coming off top-10 finishes for the Golden Grizzlies at the John Piper Intercollegiate (Sept. 17-18). Sophomore Cameron Nelson will tee off in his first tournament this year and posted a stroke average of 77.35 in 2011-12.
The 54-hole tournament will start with 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Play starts at 8:30 a.m. Monday morning.
