OU Men's Soccer at No. 3 SMU

The Golden Grizzlies tasted defeat for the first time this season with a 3-1 loss to SMU in the championship game.

Elected Student Body President in Spring 2008 by seven votes ... team captain.

2008: Started in all 19 games played ... Named All-Midwest Region first team ... All-Summit League first team selection... Named Summit League Defensive Player of the Year ... Earned Summit League Athlete of the Month honors in November for posting four shutouts, 18 saves and an .857 save percentage ... Tabbed Summit League Defensive Player of the Week twice for posting two shutouts against Oregon State and Green Bay (9/2) and for shutting out IPFW with five saves (10/20)...Also named OU Student-Athlete of the Week (10/21) ... Earned a spot on the Niagara Falls Classic All-Tournament team ... Ranked eighth in the nation in goals against average with 0.54 and 19th with his .846 save percentage ... Posted a Summit League record-tying 11 shutouts ... Led the league in goals against average, save percentage and shutouts.
