RICCI SCORES TWO GOALS AS OAKLAND FALLS AT GREEN BAY

GREEN BAY, Wisc. - Austin Ricci scored two goals while Nebojsa Popovic added an assist as the Oakland men's soccer team fell 4-2 at conference leader Green Bay on Saturday night. This marks the second time Ricci has scored two goals in a game this season.

Ricci's first tally came in the 31st minute tying the game at 1-1. After a pair of Phoenix goals to open the second half, Ricci connected again in the 78th minute off a feed from Popovic to pull Oakland (3-8, 1-3 HL) within a goal at 3-2.

Green Bay (5-2-2, 4-0 HL) added a late goal in the 81st minute to secure the win and remain unbeaten in league play.

Oakland travels to Northern Kentucky on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.
