ROCHESTER, Mich. - Taylor Jones led Oakland with a team-high 14 points while Leah Somerfield just missed a double-double scoring nine points with nine rebounds, two blocks and two assists as the Golden Grizzlies dropped a hard fought contest to visiting Milwaukee, 74-62, on Thursday night.

Taylor Gleason added 11 points while Sha'Keya Graves and Chloe Guingrich each chipped in with seven points.

Despite scoring 29 points off 21 turnovers, Oakland could not overcome Milwaukee's production from the free throw line and the Panthers went 21-for-22 at a 95.5 percent clip.

After trailing by 10 points at the half, Oakland opened up the third quarter on 15-7 run to climb within two points at 49-47. However, Milwaukee responded outscoring the Golden Grizzlies 10-4 to close out the quarter and maintained the lead in the fourth mainly from the charity stripe going 9-for-10 en route to the win.
