ROCHESTER, Mich. - Sha'Keya Graves scored a team-high 16 points hitting four 3-pointers with two assists while Taylor Gleason added 11 points with three assists, three steals and four rebounds as Oakland fell 81-48 to No. 22/23 Green Bay on Saturday. The lost snaps the Golden Grizzlies' two-game home win streak over the Phoenix.
Taylor Jones also chipped in with 10 points and four rebounds. Defensively, Mercy Agwaniru posted a career-high three blocks while Korrin Taylor had two steals and recorded her first career block off the bench.
Green Bay's (17-2, 7-1 HL) hot shooting from the floor proved to be the difference as the Phoenix shot a season-high 58.8 percent. Despite Oakland (10-9, 3-5 HL) being ranked second in the league in 3-point field goal defense, Green Bay also managed to shoot a season-best 55 percent (11-for-20) from behind the arc.
Oakland returns to the Blacktop at the O'rena for a Metro Series Driven by Trinity Transportation showdown against arch-rival Detroit Mercy on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 3 p.m.
