DETROIT - Leah Somerfield posted her third double-double of the season with a team-high 17 points and 10 rebounds while Hannah Little also recorded her 10th double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds as Oakland dropped a 71-61 Metro Series driven by Trinity Transportation decision at arch-rival Detroit Mercy on Saturday afternoon.

Sha'Keya Graves added 14 points off the bench while Nicole Dodd chipped in with nine points on 3-of-6 shooting from behind the arc.

Despite a slow start for both teams with a combined 14 first quarter points, Oakland's offensive struggles continued scoring only 13 points in the second. The Golden Grizzlies opened the third on a 12-4 run to cut Detroit Mercy's lead to six but that would be as close as they would come as the Titans earned two points to draw even at 8-8 in the Metro Series standings.
