CHICAGO - Nicole Dodd poured in a career-high 15 points draining a career-best 5-of-10 from behind the arc leading Oakland to a 78-50 win at UIC on Saturday. The victory marks the program's 300th win in the Division I era.
Dodd, Leah Somerfield and Nola Anderson went a combined 13-for-13 from the free throw line with Somerfield adding 15 points along with 10 from Anderson. Defensively, the Golden Grizzlies had 17 steals and 27 points off 24 UIC turnovers.
Oakland returns home against Northern Kentucky on Monday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. for Senior Night as the team will honor seniors Anderson, Dodd and Hannah Little.
