ROCHESTER, Mich. - Mercy Agwaniru grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds with four points, two assists, a steal and block while Leah Somerfield recorded a double-double with a game-high 16 points and 12 rebounds to spark Oakland's 67-59 win over Niagara on Sunday night. Taylor Jones and Cierra Bond also scored in double figures with 15 and 14 points respectively. Jones also had three steals while Bond dished out four assists.
Taylor Gleason added eight points with a season-high eight assists and three steals.
Trailing 56-54 with 5:08 left in the fourth quarter, Oakland went on a 13-3 run holding Niagara without a field goal over a four minute span to seal the win.
