ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland women's basketball team hits the road for a pair of Horizon League games at UIC and IUPUI. The Golden Grizzlies and Flames tip off on Thursday, Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. ET followed by the Jaguars on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 3 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live from the UIC Pavilion and The Jungle respectively on ESPN3.

Series History: Oakland holds a 6-4 all-time series lead against UIC after sweeping the season series last year. The Flames enter the game winless in conference play at 0-3.

The Golden Grizzlies also hold a 24-12 series mark over new Horizon League and former Summit League member IUPUI. The Jaguars currently sit atop the standings unbeaten in conference play at 3-0.

1000 Point Club: Taylor Jones scored 11 points against NKU becoming the 28th player in program history to score 1000 career points. Taylor Gleason currently sits at 794 career points.

Bond, Cierra Bond: Cierra Bond posted career-highs in points (25), field goals (9) and 3-pointers (6) leading Oakland to a 79-53 win over Northern Kentucky (1/6).

Guard the Arc: Oakland ranks second in the league in 3-point field goal defense (25.4) which ranks eighth in the nation. This season, the Golden Grizzlies have held four opponents under 18 percent shooting from behind the arc, YSU (9.1), Canisius (17.4), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (16.7) and NKU (16.7).
