ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland women's basketball team hosts arch-rival Detroit Mercy in a Metro Series showdown Driven by Transportation on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 3 p.m. This White Out Game, sponsored by Ascension Crittenton, will be broadcast live from the Blacktop at the O'rena on TV20 and ESPN3 with Brad Golder (play-by-play) and Reggie Butler (analyst) on the call.

Metro Series History: Oakland has won the Metro Series each of the past three seasons since its inception in 2014-15. Oakland currently leads this year's standings 9-1 after the men's team defeated UDM in basketball last weekend. In the event of a tie this year, Oakland will retain the cup.

Series vs the Titans: Detroit Mercy leads the all-time series 15-10 and has won the last three meetings against the Golden Grizzlies.

Grab and Go: Oakland leads the league in steals per game (10.40) and has two players ranked in the top-12 individually (Taylor Gleason 2nd-2.6, Sha'Keya Graves T-12th-1.4).

Return to Sender: Oakland also leads the league in blocked shots (4.10) with Nikita Telesford ranks fifth individually (1.0) followed by Mercy Agwaniru who is tied in seventh (0.8).

3-Point Bombs Away: The Golden Grizzlies are tied for the league lead in 3-point field goal percentage (33.2) and ranks second in 3-point field goals made per game (7.3).
