ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland women's basketball team concludes its two-game road swing at Canisius on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 7 pm. The game will be broadcast live from the Koessler Athletic Center on ESPN3.
Series History: This is only the third meeting between the two schools with the series tied 1-1. The Golden Griffins recorded a 62-57 win on Nov. 16, 2013 while Oakland won 52-51 on Nov. 20. 2012. Canisius is the second team from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) on the schedule this season as the Golden Grizzlies defeated Niagara, 67-59, on Nov. 19.
Opponent Breakdown: Canisius enters the contest with a 2-3 record after back-to-back losses against Cornell (Nov. 22) and at Bucknell (Nov. 26). Junior Sara Hinriksdottir leads the team in points (15.2), rebounds (8.2) and assists (5.4) per game.
