After Smith's RBI single in the fifth, Oakland got hits from Brittney Miller, Lauren Pletscher and Hill in the bottom of the seventh to load the bases. However, the Golden Grizzlies could not get a key hit to cut into UDM's lead leaving three runners stranded totaling eight left on base for the game.
