With over a decade of experience as the head tennis coach at Oakland, Heather Redshaw joined the Oakland athletic department in the summer of 2000 as the head women's tennis coach. Redshaw is responsible for all aspects of Oakland tennis, including scheduling, recruiting, training and conditioning.
In 2015, Redshaw guided the Golden Grizzlies to its first appearance in the Horizon League Tournament. Under Redshaw's tutelage, Oakland's Cam Sabourin was named a second-team all-league performer, the first all-conference honors for the Golden Grizzlies since the 2008 campaign.
In addition to her position at Oakland, Redshaw is a tennis professional at the Rochester Hills Tennis & Swim Club. The Shelby Township resident has been at RHT&SC since 1997.
Redshaw graduated from Western Michigan University in 1992 with a degree in exercise science. While at Western Michigan, Redshaw played two years of collegiate tennis. She is a USPTA Certified Professional and a Prince Pro Member.
