SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Darya Maltseva and Dasha Artamonova each won in straight sets at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles positions respectively while Allison Motea grinded out a three-set win at the No. 3 spot to lead Oakland to a 5-2 win over arch-rival Detroit Mercy on Saturday night at the Franklin Athletic Club. With the win, the Golden Grizzlies now lead the Titans, 21-1, in the Metro Series driven by Trinity Transportation standings.

Maltseva and Alexandra Whall also notched at 6-2 win over Pauline Van Herck and Iris Thioux to help secure the doubles point.

Oakland travels to Wright State for a league match on Sat., Apr. 21 at 2:30 p.m.
