DETROIT-- The Oakland women's tennis team (1-8) will face Wayne State (19-3) on Wednesday at noon at the WSU Tennis Courts. It is the first match for the Golden Grizzlies since a victory over Youngstown State on Feb. 26.

The match is currently slated to be played outdoors, but cold weather could force play indoors. If that happens the match will be played at the adjacent indoor facility.

The Golden Grizzlies enter the match coming off their first win of the season over YSU. Brittany Baxter picked up a 6-0, 6-0 singles victory to clinch the match, while Grace Keating and Demi Georgakopoulosposted an important 8-1 win in doubles play.

The Warriors are coming off a tight 5-4 loss to Detroit in their last match. The Warriors won three singles matches including No. 1 singles.

This is the final tune up match for OU before beginning Summit League play. Results from the match will be available following the match on OUGrizzlies.com.
