OAKLAND TENNIS ADDS DARYA MALTSEVA

The Oakland tennis team has added Darya Maltseva for the 2017-18 season announced head coach Heather Redshaw on Thursday.

"We are looking forward to Darya joining our team this fall and will be a great addition to our roster,” said Redshaw. “She is very talented on the tennis court and is an exceptional student as well. I believe she will fit into our team culture and have an immediate impact."

Maltseva, a Newmarket, Ontario native who played high school tennis for two years at North Toronto Collegiate Institute (NTCI) and two years at Dr. John M. Dennison Secondary School, was an Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Bronze medalist in doubles (2017) and in mixed doubles (2015). She also won a Provincial singles title in 2012 along with two Provincial doubles titles.
