DAYTON, Ohio -- The Oakland women's tennis team will compete in tournament action this weekend at the Wright State Invitational. The three-day, flighted tournament begins on Friday at Thomas Cloud Park.

"The fall season is about playing as many matches as you can," said head coach Heather Redshaw. "Every match we play in the fall is one step closer towards our goal. I am anticipating good things out of all the girls both in singles and doubles."

The tournament will feature eight teams and three flights of singles play, with two flights of doubles action. The action will begin each day at 9 a.m.

Singles matches will be best two out of three sets, with a 10-point tiebreaker in lieu of a third set, while doubles is an eight-game pro-set. In the event of inclement weather, matches will be held at South Regency Tennis Center
