CLEVELAND -- Jamie Walling matched a career high 14 kills, hitting .407 and added seven blocks as the Oakland volleyball team dropped a five set match at Cleveland State (17-7, 10-3 HL) Friday evening at Woodling Gymnasium.

Four Golden Grizzlies reached double-digit dig totals with Darrin Rice leading the way with 22 while Maddie Lentz, Darien Bandel and Lindsay Wightman each recorded 13 digs. Bandel led all offensive players with 21 kills, her ninth 20-plus kill effort on the season.

Krysteena Davis, one of the top blockers in the nation, recorded three blocks on the day and broke her own single-season school record in block assists (135) and total blocks (145). Oakland (14-11, 9-4 HL) will take on Youngstown State Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Beeghly Center on ESPN3.
