ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland volleyball team (7-4) are set to open Summit League play as they host Fort Wayne on Friday at 7 p.m. and Western Illinois on Monday at 7 p.m. inside the Athletics Center O'rena. Last season, the Golden Grizzlies split both matches with Fort Wayne and WIU.

- The Golden Grizzlies have won seven out of their last eight matches including two tournament victories
- Oakland is coming off a five-set victory over Eastern Michigan at home on Tuesday
- It marks only the fourth time in school history that OU was earned a win over the Eagles
- Meghan Bray recorded 22 kills and 13 digs while Taylor Humm finished with 19 kills and 25 digs
- Alli Kirk ranks seventh in the nation with a 5.74 digs per set average
- Bray is 15th in the country in kills per set with a 4.46 average
- Ciara Schultz leads the team with a 6.09 assists per set average
- Brittany Holbrook leads the front line with 45 total blocks
