BANDEL NAMED HORIZON LEAGUE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

INDIANAPOLIS -- Darien Bandel has been named Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 25 through Oct. 1 after averaging 6.29 kills per set and hitting .376 against Wright State and Northern Kentucky last weekend.

She tied a career-high 27 kills hitting .407 to go with 14 digs and two blocks in a 3-1 win over the Norse, then registered 18 kills, 16 digs and two blocks in a sweep over Wright State on Sept. 29. Bandel leads the league in kills per set and currently ranks 22nd in the NCAA in that category. She also averaged 4.29 digs per set.
