INDIANAPOLIS -- Sammy Condon has been named Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 16-22 after breaking numerous records and reaching career milestones.

The next day against Green Bay, she recorded a nearly identical performance by slamming 15 kills for a hitting percentage of .370 and tied her career high with 11 blocks. She became the program's all-time total blocks leader and the eighth player in program history to reach 1,000 career kills.

On the weekend, she finished averaging 3.00 kills per set, hitting .415 and defensively recorded a staggering 2.20 blocks per set. The Golden Grizzlies remain in second place in the Horizon League standings and travel to Northern Kentucky and Wright State this weekend.
